The rice paper  takes about  one minute and sometimes it can get soggy because of the temperature of the water. It really depends on the temp. Check it often when you are socking the rice paper. We did two different kind of batches and that was see what would happen. The first batch was with jam in and baked it while the others didn't have jam in it.
