Ampesi is prepared with any tuber or popularly plantain.you can use coco yam or yam. This food is very common among the akans of Ghana . I love it because it's easy to prepare and very nutritious . It contain all the vital nutrients you will need to run the day.

Ingredients

  • Plaintans, tomatoes. Green pepper,onions
  • Palm oil,coco yam leaves . Papaya,
  • Salted tilapia

Directions

  • 11.Peel the plantain. Y
    2.Use the back of your knife to gently scrap off the whitish substance on the plain twin food till u see the yellowish color.
    3. Put it on fire with moderate water . Add your salt.
  • 24. Clean ur green coco yam leaves
    5. Put it on the boiling plantain .
    6. Mash the coco yam when it become soft.
    7. Add your pepper and mash.
    8. You can roast the tomato.ad to the coco yam leaves and mash . Add your salt
    11. Put the oil on fire and add your slice onions.
    12. Allow to fry.
    13.yiu can fry the tilapia or roast.
    14. Pour your oil on the stew. And add your tilapia

  • 3Now check if your plantain is well cooked. It should be soft.
    Take it off and pour off the water.
    Get a cold water and put the hot plantain in .
    Your can pour off the water after sometime if the plantain become cold .
    Serve for the family.
