Bhindi kheema or okra with minced meat gravy is a simple yet nice way to include veggies in your non vegetarian meal. This gravy goes very well with rotis or pulkas. Do give it a try.

Ingredients

  • 400 gms kheema
  • 400 gms kheema mutton/ beef
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 4 large onions
  • Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Green chillies 2 chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup

Directions

  • 1In a kadai add 1/4cup oil add ginger garlic paste fry for a minute then add kheema fry till the colour changes which will take 5 mts .
  • 2Add all the dry spices and green chillies. Sprinkle salt and fry it further. Add tomatoes chopped mix well and cover and cook for 15mts. After the given time stir the kheema again well till all the liquid evaporates . Set aside.
  • 3In another pan put 2 tbsp oil and stir fry the bhindi which is cut into 1 inch pieces till cooked. Set aside.
  • 4In the same pan add more oil and fry the onions till light golden. Drain it well and add it to the kheema along with the fried bhindi mix both well . Now on the flame again and keep it on slow flame for dum cooking for 10mts. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve it with rotis
