Buffalo wing, in the cuisine of the United States, the wings are generally deep-fried  or baked then coated in a hot sauce and baked prior to serving. There are many variations to this like mango wings , sweet and sour wings etc. All taste extremely delicious . Its a hot favourite with my kids as its easy to make i give them a treat now and then. Do try it and leave a feed back.


  • Ingredients for marination;
  • Chicken wings 500gms
  • Salt 1/2'tsp
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Other ingredients;
  • Half cup all purpose flour for coating.
  • Ingredients for buffalo sauce;
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
  • 1/4cup ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or red chilli powder
  • 1/2tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt to taste


  • 1Clean the wings well and marinate it with the ingredient written under marination for 2 hrs.
  • 2When ready to cook preheat the oven at 180 deg .Take half a cup of all purpose flour and dip each wing and coat it well . Place them in a greased tray , brush some oil on them on both side and bake it for 25 mts.
    For those who dont have oven you can heat oil in a kadai and deep fry till golden . Set aside.
  • 3To prepare buffalo sauce. Take a saucepan add butter add garlic before the butter melts to avoid burning of butter, fry the garlic till fragrant add the rest of the ingredients under sauce , cook on low flame till thick and saucy . Adjust the spice level and sweetess according to your own taste. You can keep some sauce aside to use as a dip while serving. Remove from heat mix the cooked wings in them . Spread them again in the baking tray and bake them for 5 to 10 mts at 180 deg . For those who have deep fried thier wings. After mixing with the sauce cook it in the same pan for 5mts.Serve them hot .
