Keeping this pandemic in mind we should also take care of thier deit to boost thier immunity to fight against the disease. Todays recipe is very tasty way of adding almonds to thier diet. Almonds contain lots of healthy fats, fiber, protein, magnesium and vitamin E. Soaked almonds have a cooling effect on the body which is perfect during summers.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium carrots
  • 30 almonds peeled
  • 4 tbsp sugar or more
  • 2 scoop vanilla icecream
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup water to boil the carrots

Directions

  • 1Boil the carrots in a saucepan with 1 cup water till they are done ,no need for them to be overcooked. Let them cool completely. We will use the water during grinding so dont throw it away.
  • 2In a blender add the carrots along with water ,sugar, peeled almonds (you can also put the almonds with skin) and milk . Blend it well till everything has turned out smooth. Finally add icecream and give stir . Serve cold .
  • 3This quantity is for 6 glasses you can reduce it to half if you have a smaller family.
