Chicken gold coins a tea time snack to fulfill the hunger pangs of your little ones. Its basically bread cut into discs and topped with chicken filling garnished with sesame seeds and deep fried. This dish was suggested to me by  Rehana  one of my sweet relative. I tried it first and we all liked it . Thanks rehana for sharing it. This is one of Sanjeev Kapoor's recipes ,a chef who is extremely famous for his work. Do try it .

Ingredients

  • Chicken Mince 250 grams (you can use boneless chicken and mince it in a chopper)
  • Bread slices 6 to 8
  • White Sesame seeds 2tbsp
  • 1tsp soya sauce
  • 2tsp cornflour
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 1tsp white pepper powder
  • 2tsps grated ginger
  • 2 tsps grated garlic
  • Finely chopped green chillies 2
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • Oil for deen frying

Directions

  • 1Grind chicken mince in a grinder to a very fine paste.

    Transfer into a mixing bowl, add soy sauce, salt, white pepper powder, ginger, garlic, onion, green chillies, cornflour and one egg and mix well.

    Break the other egg into another bowl, add little water and salt and beat.

    Cut bread slices into roundels with a round cookie cutter. Brush them with beaten egg, spread some chicken mixture evenly on them. Brush again with egg.

    Sprinkle sesame seeds generously on the prepared coins and press lightly. Shake off excess seeds and refrigerate for ten to fifteen minutes.

    Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep-fry the coins till crisp and golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
    Arrange them on a serving plate and serve hot with a sauce of your choice.
