Chocolate brownie every childs favourite and many grownups too love it . Though i am not a chocolate fan but i do make it for my little ones. Make this  classic chocolate brownies with this easy recipe, perfect for everyday baking and occasions. Just by adding a scoop of vanilla icecream and topping it with roasted cashews you can just enjoy this desert to the fullest. Do try it and leave a feed back


  • Butter unsalted 80g
  • Dark or milk chocolate unsweetened 200g
  • Cocoa powder 1/4cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Sugar 1/2cup
  • Milk 2 tbs
  • Cooking oil 2 tbs
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/4tsp
  • Baking soda 1/2tsp
  • All purpose flour 1/4cup
  • Chocolate chips to garnish


  • 1In non stick saucepan,add butter, chocolate and whisk well in slow flame till the chocolate melts.Add cocoa powder,mix well till u get a smooth lump free mixture, off the gas and set aside.

    In a bowl,add eggs and beat well with the help of a electric beater .Add sugar and beat for a minute.Add milk,cooking oil,vanilla essence,baking powder,baking soda and beat again.Now add melted chocolate mixture (room temperate) and mix gently with a spatula. Add all-purpose flour which has been sifted to avoid lumps and mix until well combined.
    Grease 8 x 8 inch baking pan with cooking oil and place butter paper.

    Pour brownie batter in prepared baking dish and add chocolate chips on top .

    Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 30-35 minutes.

    After baking,let it cool and cut into pieces & serve!
