Hariyali mushroom rice is a easy way to feed your kids healthy leafy vegetables like spinach and dill leaves and mushrooms. Mushrooms are a good source of antioxidants and vitamins, and they are low in calories too. Ingredients

  • Butter 5tbs
  • Onion 2 medium choppe
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Button Mushrooms 250 gms sliced
  • Spinach 1 bunch chopped
  • Dill leaves 1 small bunch chopped
  • Basmati rice 1 and half cups
  • Chicken powder 2 tsp
  • Pepper powder 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • 1Boil the basmati rice with salt till 90 % cooked and keep it aside
  • 2In a wok,add butter when it melts add onion and sauté until translucent.Add ginger garlic paste and mix .Add sliced mushrooms,chopped spinach and dill leaves mix well
    Add chicken powder,black pepper powder,salt,mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes
    Add boiled rice give it a good stir. Leave it for dum for 5 mts. Off the gas and let it rest for another 5 to 10 mts. Serve it hot.
