Plums are a very nutritious fruit. Both plums and prunes are an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. I love creating new juice recipes this is one of them . I had purchased a box of juicy sweet plums which made me discover this juice and my hubby loved it as it was having a unique flavour. Do try out when you buy your next batch of plums.
Ingredients
- 8 to 10 plums
- 2 inch ginger pc
- 1/2 or less black salt
- Sugar to taste
- 2 cups water
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp optional
Directions
- 1Wash the plums and pee the skin and remove the seeds. My plums where very sweet and juicy plus soft so I directly held them in my blender and easily removed the skin as they where very soft.
- 2Add all the remaining ingredients. I have written lemon juice optional as it depends upon your plums if they are very sour skip it mine were very sweet so added the sourness of the lemon. I have always mentioned black salt 1/2tsp or less depends upon your taste buds first add 1/4tsp if you feel you want more then add another 1/4tsp. Adjust the sugar level according to your taste. Enjoy it chilled
