As mangoes are seen all over the place and as i am a crazy mango lover on my every visit to the supermarket I end up buying mangoes of all sizes. Today i am making a simple water based pickle with a hand full of ingredients.  This pickle takes me back to my childhood days where i used to love drinking the water of this pickle as it has a salty savoury and a hint of chilly flavour which used to love .. do try it before the mangoes disappear 

Ingredients

  • 2 raw mangoes
  • 3 green chillies chopped
  • Salt 3 tbsp
  • Garlic 4 cloves smashed
  • Ginger 1 inch chopped
  • Glass jar to store

Directions

  • 1Wash and peel the mangoes, chop mangoes in long slices or as u wish.
  • 2Mix all the ingredients in 2 cups of boiled and cooling water. Check the salt .if you require more saltly add more salt.
  • 3Store this pickle in a sterilised glass jar. To increase shelf life keep it refrigerated
