They are so many ways to make meatballs. Mine is simple and fast and i usually make it when I know that I will come home late. Make sure your mince is thawed not frozen. I normally take out mine before I go to work in the morning . The herbs are fresh from the garden which 7 steps away from my kitchen. I love fresh herbs and this is my kids favorite recipe of all time. 

Ingredients

  • 1kg mince (thawed)
  • 5g Salt
  • 5g Pepper
  • 10g Thyme fresh chopped
  • 10g Coriander fresh chopped
  • 100g Spring onion chopped
  • 1big / 50g onion chopped
  • 2 tbs Tomato paste
  • 100g / 3 Fresh tomatoes chopped

Directions

  • 1Mix mince with salt, pepper, coriander , spring onion and leave some for garnish,thyme and 1 tbs tomatoes paste from flavor and prevent it from getting dry. You can make any size of meatballs you want but not too big because you eat them to cook inside.
  • 2Heat up the oil until you can smell it and then add the meatballs .
    Cook the meat until golden brown on both sides and set it aside.
  • 3Fry the chopped onion in the pot until soft .
  • 4Add the rest of tomato paste and fry until all is combined well .
  • 5Add chopped fresh tomatoes and cook for more 10 mins.
  • 6Add a little bit of hot water if it too thick and cook for two minutes before adding the meatballs back inside .
  • 7Cook for another 10 mins and season with salt and pepper if necessary and simmer at low heat until you want to serve.
  • 8Garnish with spring onion.
