Ingredients

  • 1. Microwave Peanut Brittle
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup salted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2. Microwave Cinnamon Apples
  • 1 small apple (peeled, sliced or diced)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cornstarch
  • 3. Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookie
  • 1/4 of all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated white sugar
  • 3 drops of vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp of semi sweet chocolate chips, plus more for toppings
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg yolk (discard the egg white or save for different recipe)

Directions

  • 1. Microwave Peanut Brittle
  • 1Grease the cookie sheet with butter.
  • 2Combine sugar and corn syrup in a small glass bowl. Microwave on high for four minutes.
  • 3Add peanuts to the bowl and microwave again on high for 3 1/2 minutes. Stir in butter and vanilla, then heat again for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  • 4Stir in baking soda until the batter becomes light and fluffy. Pour in an even layer on the cookie sheet. Let it cool to room temperature. Break into pieces.
  • 2. Microwave Cinnamon Apples
  • 1Seal the ingredients in a zip-lock bag. Shake well, ensuring that all the apple pieces are coated with cinnamon and sugar.
  • 2Reopen the bag a little bit. Microwave on high for two minutes, or until all the apple slices are soft and steamy.
  • 3Carefully open the bag, pour in a small bowl, and top either with ice cream or pita chips.
  • 3. Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookie
  • 1Melt the butter in a mug for not more than two minutes, stopping to mix and avoid it from boiling.
  • 2Stir in sugars, vanilla and salt. Add yolk, stir, add the flour, and stir again to combine.
  • 3Add the chocolate chips, stir, and add more again for toppings.
  • 4Microwave the cup for not more than 1 minute, checking at the 40th second to see if it’s done.
