the most easiest recipe i’ve tried. but the most challenging part is the perfect peaks ♥️
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 152g caster/powdered sugar
- 1tsp vanilla
- pro tip: make sure to weigh the egg whites because the ratio between the egg and the sugar is 1:2 it means, the sugar is double the amount. weighing the egg whites gives the correct ratio and the perfect meringues.because all eggs aren’t the same size
Directions
- 1double boil the eggs whites with the powdered sugar.
(make sure that the sugar has completely melted doesn’t mean the eggs have to cook) - 2add the vanilla and beat the egg whites until a stiff peak comes out
- 3line the baking pan with parchment paper bake for about 150C for about 50mins. and turn off the oven and let the meringues cool in the oven for about 20-30mins
- 4onces its completely done the meringues will easily fall of the parchment paper if not pop it in the oven for about 10-15mins at 120C
