Fish is one of the vital sources of omega-3 acids. Children love the most, when fish is fried and crispy. It is a healthy dish for any season and for people of all age groups.

Ingredients

  • Seer Fish (or any other fleshy fish) - 300 gms
  • Lemon - 1/2
  • Maida - 1 tablespoon
  • Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bread crums - 2 table spoon
  • Sooji - 2 table spoon
  • Oil - to fry
  • Salt - to taste

Directions

  • 1Mix all the ingredients (Chiili, maida, Cumin, Pepper, ginger-garlic, bread crums, salt, lemon juice) except Sooji, to form a thick paste.
  • 2Clean the fish and rinse it in the mixed batter for 5 minutes.
  • 3Heat oil in a pan. Meanwhile, mix sooji with the fish batter. Sooji when added at the end, enhances the crunch.
  • 4Once the oil gets heated, fry the fish pieces till it turns crispy.
