Sweet Rice is very popular and useful food in the world, most people are called ‘’rice pudding’’. Some peoples like to eat it warm, where other peoples are like to eat it cold.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups warmed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or ghee
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup raisins

Directions

  • 1Bring the rice, water and butter (ghee) to a boil in a big saucepan over high heat. Reduce heat to medium or low, covers, as well as simmer until the rice is tender, and the liquid has been soak up, 20-25 minutes.
  • 2Whisk together the milk, vanilla extract and sugar in a bowl. Pour this milk mixture over the cooked rice. Stir to mix. And simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes.
  • 3Add Sweetened Condensed milk, ground cinnamon and raisins after it has simmered. Allow to cool for a few minutes. Serve cold or warm.
