Ingredients
- 4oz flour
- 3 oz corn starch
- 6oz chicken breast ( cut into pieces)
- 1 beaten egg
- Pinch salt
- Pinch black pepper
- 2oz soy sauce
- 2oz water
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp minced ginger
- 2oz chopped green onions
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 Tbsp orange marmalade
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1 tsp water
- 4oz vegetable oil
Directions
- 1Mix flour and cornstarch together in a bowl.
- 2In another bowl add egg & salt and pepper.
- 3Bread chicken in the egg & flour mixture.
- 4In a medium pan heat oil and fry chicken until golden brown and set a side.
- 5In sauce pan saute garlic, ginger, green onions, crushed red pepper flakes.
- 6Add soy sauce & water, orange marmalade and bring to a boil and add cornstarch diluted with water. Cook for about 3 minutes.
- 7Add chicken into sauce pan and coat chicken well.
- 8Served orange chicken over steamed white rice and enjoy.
