PreshCakes Flapjacks

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 Tbsp of sugar
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup oil or butter
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Butter for frying

Directions

  • 1Mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla essence, milk and oil/butter together.
    Swift the flour and add salt and baking powder.
    Pour over the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix till smooth. In the mixture is still about stiff and dry, add more milk to give it a wet like texture but smooth.
  • 2Preheat the stove to medium, placing the frying pan on it and wait for it to get heated and add half a teaspoon of butter, once melted add the pancake mixture (one big scoop of a big spoon) and let it fry/cook until golden brown on both sides.
    Do so for the rest of the mixture and once done, enjoy with honey or syrup.
  • 3Some like it with scrambled eggs and chicken or cheese grilled sausages and some mixed fruits on the side.
