Hi there!

Since I'm recently into baking, I'm sharing you my delish recipe of soft buns filled with chocolate. This recipe was inspired by, again, my cousins Alisse and Faith. Those two are in love with sugary treats. No wonder they are so hyper! Everything you need to know about this recipe were written along with the directions. Do's and dont's, and suggestions included. You could also shape it into rolls or sealed buns filled with chocolate. It entirely depends on your taste. It's just that my cousins are two bunch of bossy cuties and they want my treats how they like it. Enjoy eating!

Chocolate - Filled Buns

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon active-dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup whole millk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 cup all - purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 10 ounce sweetened chocolate, melted

Directions

  • 1Activate the yeast with warm water. Cover with white cloth. Allow to stand until dissolved. DO NOT STIR. (You may kill the yeast (it is an organism) and the recipe might won't work the way it is supposed to do.
  • 2Whisk milk, egg, oil, sugar and salt in a separate bowl.
  • 3Add the mixture to the bowl containing the yeast. You may now stir.
  • 4Add the flour. Mix until all the ingredients are combined with the flour.
  • 5Knead the dough. Knead at low speed for 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Same thing, if you knead by hand.
  • 6Put into a bowl. Cover with warm cloth. Wait an hour until the dough risen. The dough should double its size. The dough is ready when it springs back after you poked it.
  • 7Punch the dough and divide into 14 equal portions. Shape it into a ball. Put a small hole using a stick. (This is where you will pipe in the melted chocolate later.)
  • 8Place the buns on a baking sheet greased with cooking spray. Cover with kitchen towel and allow to rise for another 20 minutes.
  • 9Preheat oven to 400F.
  • 10Brush the rolls with melted butter.
  • 11Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
  • 12Roll into a plate of confectioners sugar
  • 13Pipe in the melted chocolate.
  • 14Serve into a platter. Enjoy. you might want to try using other fillings such as peanut butter, milk chocolate and fruit fillings.
