Hi there, what I am sharing you today is my favorite coconut macaroons recipe. This recipe was passed on by my favorite grandma in the whole wide world. She likes sweets too (explains why the kiddos - Allise and Faith, love sweets, they must got it from her). Anyway, this recipe is just a 1/10 level of difficulty yet a 10/10 after cooking. If you wanna try something new (or this is not new at all), I really like eating them chilled. Put them in the refrigerator for about 10 - 15 minutes. Tell me what you think. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut, flaked
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp all - purpose flour
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter

Directions

  • 1In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients (flaked coconut, sugar, all - purpose flour, egg whites and vanilla extract.)
  • 2Mix well.
  • 3Greased an aluminum foil with butter.
  • 4Dropped spoonful of the mixture in the greased aluminum foil.
  • 5Bake in a pre - heated oven (325F) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 6Serve in a platter. Happy eating!
