On weekends, I usually make something really quick requiring least of my time and energy. This delicious chicken fillet is juicy, succulent and a good source of protein if you are on a diet. 

Pound the chicken fillet with a mallet on both sides. Marinade with all the ingredients and keep overnight in fridge or for atleast 4 hrs. Let all the flavors infuse in the chicken.

Cook the fillets in a frypan on medium heat with 3 tbsp of oil. Turn sides till golden brown.

Serve hot with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken fillets pounded with mallet
  • 1 tsp dried basil leaves
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp mustard sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  • 1In a bowl, add all the ingredients and stir into a smooth paste.
  • 2Coat the fillets in the marinade. Keep in the refrigerator for atlest 4 hrs preferably overnight.
  • 3Shallow fry in a frypan on medium heat with 3 tbsp oil. Turn sides and cook till golden brown.
  • 4Serve hot with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
