On weekends, I usually make something really quick requiring least of my time and energy. This delicious chicken fillet is juicy, succulent and a good source of protein if you are on a diet.
Pound the chicken fillet with a mallet on both sides. Marinade with all the ingredients and keep overnight in fridge or for atleast 4 hrs. Let all the flavors infuse in the chicken.
Cook the fillets in a frypan on medium heat with 3 tbsp of oil. Turn sides till golden brown.
Serve hot with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 8 chicken fillets pounded with mallet
- 1 tsp dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 tsp chopped ginger
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp mustard sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Oil for frying
Directions
- 1In a bowl, add all the ingredients and stir into a smooth paste.
- 2Coat the fillets in the marinade. Keep in the refrigerator for atlest 4 hrs preferably overnight.
- 3Shallow fry in a frypan on medium heat with 3 tbsp oil. Turn sides and cook till golden brown.
- 4Serve hot with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
