Mushrooms are a very good option when you want a break from non vegetarian food. All types of edible mushrooms contain varying degrees of protein and fibre. They also contain B vitamins as well as a powerful antioxidant  which helps to support the immune system and prevent damage to cells and tissues.

I used to always buy cream of mushroom ready made soups which are easily available in supermarkets untill i found this lovely recipe which i have been making when i find a good pack of fresh  button mushrooms . I really like to enjoy a bowl of soup with some home baked garlic bread and a bowl of fresh salad. Which i usually make when i take a break from the usual chapati and curry.  You too try this out and leave a feed back
