Crispy chicken burger is a yummy treat for your little ones.These burger pattice can be easily forzen in a air tight container and used when required,so you can get tension free of giving your kids homemade food without preservatives. I had eaten this burger in my cousin Afshan Sheriffs house which was loved by all of us and was very filling too and she was kind enough to share this recipe with me. Ingredients
- Chicken breast 1/2kg.
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- Mustard paste 2 tsp
- Green chillies 2
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- 1 small egg
- Cornflakes 1 cup or more
- Cabbage 1 cup packed shredded
- Mayonnaise 3 tbsp
- Pepper powder
- Lettuce leaves 4 shredded
- Burger buns 6
- Ketchup
Directions
- 1Wash your chicken well and make sure its dry by patting it dry with a kitchen towel. In a chopper add ginger garlic paste, green chillies, soya sauce, mustard paste, salt , vinegar and egg . Make a fine kheema out of it. Now make around 6 to 8 flat burger patties out of it( depends upon your required size).If you find it a little soft keep it n the fridge for sometime.
- 2Take a bowl take cornflakes and crush them with your hands a little bit,now roll the prepared burger patty and cover it fully with cornflakes . Once done keep it in the freezer for some time to set for about an hour. At this stage you can freeze the burgers in a airtight container for storage.
- 3In a pan heat oil and fry these burgers on both sides till golden , dont fry them on high heat as it might remain uncooked inside . Let it cook on medium heat. Meanwhile start making the coleslaw, in a bowl add mayonnaise, salt , pepper and a dash of mustard paste mix it well add the shredded cabbage your coleslaw is ready . Chop lettuce finely and keep it aside. Remove the cooked burgers in a paper towel and start assembling the burger. Cut open the buns apply ketchup on one side place shredded lettuce on that keep your patties then place the coleslaw and finally the other bun. You can add onion rings too. Enjoy with french fries.
