This is a very easy snack to prepare when you have some friends over for a drink
Crunchy, tasty and enjoyed by everybody!
Serve them hot for the best result
Ingredients
- 6 (10 cm x 10 cm, 4 x4 inch) puff pastry sheets
- 300 gr minced meat (beef or chicken)
- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley leaves
- 1 finely sliced red chili
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
Directions
- 1Place the meat in a bowl, add the other ingredients, except for the puff pastry and combine. Keep chilled
- 2Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- 3Arrange the pastry sheets side by side, touching each other, on a flat surface
- 4Form the minced meat in a sausage shape, just a little below the center of the sheets, from left to right over the pastry.
- 5Brush the base of the sheets with a little water and fold the pastry sheets from top to bottom over the meat.
- 6Secure the pastry by pressing the edges with a fork
- 7Cut every sheet in half so you have 12 small puffs
- 8Arrange on the lined baking sheet and brush the top with egg
- 9Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until golden and crisp
