Tahini sauce is one dip I discovered off late, and yes it is here to stay. Tahini is a middle eastern spread made from ground sesame seeds, that's all I knew about it, untill I wanted to try a particular middle eastern wrap which called for a Tahini sauce and not Tahini. Well turns out they are two different things! I always have store bought Tahini lying in my fridge which mainly goes into my Hummus. This sauce is easy to stir up and puts your mediterranean spead a notch up by just sitting as side dip with the pita bread. So go on, try it and slather it up on almost any bread!
In a Blender, add tahini, garlic, salt and 1 tbsp olive oil.
Grind to a smooth paste, remove in a bowl and stir in the lemon juice and rest of the olive oil. If too thick then add more olive oil to get desired consistency. Enjoy!
