Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of beans
  • 1 cup of rice
  • Waakye leaves
  • Water
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • 1Pick and wash beans.
  • 2Cook beans till 90% cooked.
  • 3Wash leaves and deep into the boiling beans and add more water.
  • 4Cover to boil for 5 minutes to get colour.
  • 5Add rice,salt and stir to mix well.Boil for 10 minutes.
  • 6Low heat and leave to cook well for 5 minutes.
  • 7Remove leaves and serve hot.Best eaten with stew,fried fish or chicken,boiled or fried egg,fried plantain,gari (moist),salad,spaghetti or any other according to your taste.
