Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of beans
- 1 cup of rice
- Waakye leaves
- Water
- Salt to taste
Directions
- 1Pick and wash beans.
- 2Cook beans till 90% cooked.
- 3Wash leaves and deep into the boiling beans and add more water.
- 4Cover to boil for 5 minutes to get colour.
- 5Add rice,salt and stir to mix well.Boil for 10 minutes.
- 6Low heat and leave to cook well for 5 minutes.
- 7Remove leaves and serve hot.Best eaten with stew,fried fish or chicken,boiled or fried egg,fried plantain,gari (moist),salad,spaghetti or any other according to your taste.
