Ingredients
- 1kg all purpose flour
- 250g butter
- 1 cup or 200g sugar
- 1 tbsp nutmeg
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- Oil for frying
Directions
- 1Add the flour in a mixing bowl together with butter, sugar and nutmeg mix till crumbled
- 2Add the milk and mix till it form a dough then knead for about 5 minutes
- 3Part it in four and let it rest for 30 minutes and after that knead again
- 4Roll your dough out till 1 to 1 1/2 cm
Then cut it in cubes using a knife or pizza cutter - 5Heat the oil for frying
- 6Fry it using a fork to separate it from sticking then continue stirring occasionally till golden brown
- 7Place the fried chin chin on a paper towel when done
- 8Allow to cool down and serve with chilled drink
