A low carb biltong and basil pate made with cream cheese, powdered biltong and fresh basil.
- 1 tub full cream, smooth cottage cheese.
- 1 cup powdered biltong.
- A handful of fresh basil, finely cut.
- Half of an onion, finely chopped.
- A squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
- A few good grinds of black pepper.
- Glad wrap to refrigerate.
- 1In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients, except the glad wrap, and mix thoroughly with a spoon until combined.
- 2Line a desert bowl or plastic container with glad wrap, transfer the pate, cover and refrigerate until use.
