Very easy homemade hummus recipe. The chickpeas is soaked, cooked, than mixed with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and some spices.
Serve the hummus with warm pita bread. Enjoy!
- 150 g Chickpeas
- 1 Small garlic clove
- 50 g Tahini
- 20 ml Olive oil
- 1 Tbspoon Salt
- 35 ml Water
- Lemon juice
- 1Place the chickpeas in a large bowl filled with water. Leave it for 12 hours.
- 2Drain the chickpeas and cook them in a large saucepan with a lot of water. Add water when necessary and add the salt almost at the end. It might take up to 6 hours until the chickpeas are very soft.
- 3Blend the chickpeas in a food processor with all ingredients until smooth.
- 4Refrigerate at least 1 hours before serving.
