Next time you are craving "French Fries", try this tasty recipe.

The filling power of potatoes make them an essential ingredient in many of my recipes.

There's no need to peel them, just wash with a food brush or scrub before cooking.

Easy Oven-Fried Salad Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds of Salad potatoes, washed, and cut in halves.
  • Sea Salt (to taste)
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1/4 cup)
  • Onion slices (1/2 onion)
  • Garlic (3 cloves, crushed or minced)
  • (Optional) 1/2 cup of Edam or Parmessan Cheese, grated

Directions

  • 1First, preheat the oven to 400F degrees. Mix the garlic, salt, and olive oil.
  • 2Second, pour in the mix with the potatoes in a large bowl. Make sure all potatoes are coated with the mix.
  • 3Next, spread the potatoes on a baking sheet. Top the potatoes with the onion slices, and put in the oven for 20 minutes. Turn the potatoes once, and add 10 more minutes.
  • 4Last, check that they are soft inside before taking out of the oven. Sprinkle the cheese over the potatoes while they are hot.
